buy sth.on impulse【冲动购买】
I usually buy many clothes on impulse. 我常常一冲动就买很多衣服。

buy sth.on impulse是动词短语。其名词短语是impulse buying.
pay in installments【分期付款】
I paid for a car in installments. 我以分期付款的方式买了一辆车。

“按月分期付款”:pay in monthly installments. “一次性付清”:pay in full.
fair price 【公道的价格】
单词fair的意思是“公道的”。

A: $35 is a fair price. 35美元是很公道的价格了。
B: I will consider it carefully. 我会好好考虑一下的。
意思相对的“不公道的价格”用英语表示是unfair price.

bargain【讲价】
“讲价”是要“讲”没错,但它的英文表达里没有speak而是用bargain来表示,也就是我们常说的“砍价”。

tip【小费】
不要看到“小费”中有个“小”字,就认为表达中应该包含small,其实“小费”直接用tip表示就可以。

B: 15 dollars. 15美元。
tip也可以作动词,意为“付小费”。如:Tip the waiter 5 dollars. 给服务员5美元小费。
raise the price【涨价】
They raise the price of the vegetables. 蔬菜涨价了。

“涨价”还可以表示成bring the price up. 另外,“降价”可以用lower the price表示。
overcharge【敲竹杠】
“敲竹杠”也经常说成“宰人”,就是指找借口抬高价格,所以用英语可以表示为overcharge。
I didn't buy that computer because they overcharged me. 因为他们敲我竹杠,我没有买那台电脑。
A: They overcharged me 20 dollars for the dinner last night. 昨晚那顿饭他们敲我竹杠了,多收了我20美元。
